Drawing One Last Breath is the portrait of the artist in a state of limbo, suggesting that sometimes the gap between the living and the dead, banality and magic, exhaustion and possibility is filled with one flickering but long breath.

Project assistance from Simon Bermeo and Marika Vandekraats.

Presented in Open Season, a series of public art exhibitions played out on a mock tennis court located on 800 Robson Street between the Law Courts and the Vancouver Art Gallery. Curated by Pongsakorn Yananissorn and Denise Holland as part of Ten Different Things.
